Times Tables +
Times tables is the key for learning multiplications. Familiarity and proficiency with the times tables are an essential to learn algebra. While there are multiple approaches to help children learn times tables, memorize times tables is one of most efficient approaches to help children to learn and to apply times tables. This game uses the song of times tables to help children memorize the times tables and apply it for multiplications.
There are three sessions in this game:
“Song of times table”,
“Let me try”,
“Path to certificate”.
Song of times tables are composed of 12 pieces of songs, from 1x to 12x, along with corresponding times tables. Children can play them one by one or all 12 songs together. Song of the times tables help children to learn the times tables by rote in lovely music to create “muscle memory” in the brain so they can accurately recite the times tables.
“Let me try” provides children with opportunities to practice multiplications in a relaxed environment.
To motivate children to learn, this game builds up “Path to certificate” session. Once children complete quiz, they will be awarded with Master of Times Tables certificate.
